Enjoying from cultural efficiencies and peaceful policy towards other sects, Imamid Shiites gained a significant status at Ilkhanid era. Monguls tolerance along with the fall of radical political powers made ground for Imamids to enrich their cultural religious legacy. Thus, efforts were made to strengthen the function of theological heritage by focusing on compiling Persian theological sources. By raising the question: “what was the impact of Ilkhanids’ socio- political developments on compiling Persian theological sources? “, this paper proves that religious tolerance along with the Persian linguistic boom at Ilkhanid era made Imamids to stabilize their status by compiling the theological sources.
