| Although the history of Hira as a territory under Sasanid rule has always been studied within the context of Sassanid-Roman conflicts, Hira administration policy towards other neighbors has largely been neglected. Adopting descriptive analytical approach, this article seeks to figure out Hira relationship with Arabian Peninsula local states and tribes. According to the findings, Hira political-military affairs with Sassanid and East Roman empire did not disrupt its interaction with Arabian Peninsula tribal inhabitants. The political-economic interaction was various according to the authority, territory, and demography of the tribes. |
