Historiography in Deccan Sultanates and Asefjahid era

| The history of Persian historiography in Deccan dates back to the Bahmanid Sultanate and to their successors then to the Asefjahid time. One of the most significant characteristics in Persian historiography at that time had been a great concern about the narrations on typical lives. The question is about the credibility and significance of Deccan’s Persian historiography in terms of various data existed at those kinds of narratives. This article introduces four groups of data namely religious rituals and customs, religious and non-religious ceremonies, entertainments and adventures, food and clothing which are being recognized all over Deccan’s historiography. In addition, the Shiite rituals as a typical interest of Deccan kings have also been observed in the narratives |
