Masumeh Dorsar
Abstract:   (1290 Views)
Bektashi was one of the most important sects of the Ottoman society whose activations was based on the customs and principles of Sufism. Bektashi’s way of thinking and spirit of tolerance had attracted various strata and ideas. Bektashi had a deep connection with the government due to compatibility with the religious principles of the Ottomans. This sect spread widely by influencing the Janissary army and worked for a long time in various areas of Ottoman society. This study analyzes historical data to answer the question of what was the political, social and religious relations of Bektashi with the Ottoman government from the early tenth century to the late eleventh century AH? According to the findings of this study, Bektashi has always had close relationships with the Ottoman government. This sect was at the service of the Ottoman government by infiltrating the Ottoman government system and connections with Janissaries and for this reason, was supported by the Ottomans. Except for the Bektashi Ghali who were ideologically and politically opposed to the Ottomans, the other Bektashis were not severely oppressed by the Ottomans except during the reign of the Ghazizadehs and the Janissary revolts.
